James Sclater
James is a Chartered Accountant and was a Partner at Grant Thornton for 18 years. In 2008, James retired from Accountancy to become a Professional Director. He has a broad range of Board experience in both private and public companies. James is also a Trustee for a number of private trusts providing independent management and financial advice.
He has a keen interest in strengthening and developing New Zealand businesses through quality leadership, governance, and strategy.
An independent, logical thinker with strong financial and economic experience, James has a real passion for helping people in anything that relates to their financial management and trusts. Additionally, he has a very good strategic thought process which has been developed through experience with a number of different industries.
James is a member of the Institute of Directors and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
